Selling Some Diamond Jewelry For New Bands

Posted by Henry on January 27th, 2010

I knew that you could sell diamonds to pawn shops and stuff but never knew that you could sell diamond jewelry to local jewelry stores that would pay you good money for it. I know that since gold is at an all time market value right now that they would pay a lot just for the setting but now you can earn a little more with the diamond in it. I even have some gold earrings that should be worth some money too.

My goal is to take and sell diamond jewelry to a good company that has been in business for some time to be able to purchase some new wedding bands for my husband and myself. We have been married for twenty years and have never had any good quality bands. The first ones that we had, which we used at our very small court house ceremony were from the local big box store and they actually turned out fingers green after wearing them for a few months. We laughed and just said that we would get new ones when we could afford them but that day has not come yet. I hope to have our new wedding bands by the end of the month.

Joining The Scottsdale Adult Kickball League With Friends

Posted by Henry on January 19th, 2010

I was thinking about joining the Scottsdale adult kickball league and asked a couple of my friends if they would do it with me so that I would at least know a few of the people that I would be playing with. I got two of my friends to agree to sign on to the Scottsdale kickball league and we were really excited.

We were all talking about when we were kids and we used to play kickball in elementary school. Those were the days, carefree and you took it all so seriously because you did not want to lose. I just wanted to go into this Scottsdale adult kickball league looking to have some fun and get in shape. Everyone else agreed and hoped that we did not get put on a team where everyone was just out for blood. They would hate us, we were going to have a good time and not take it too seriously.

We got to the building to pick up the Scottsdale kickball league registration forms and found that if we could put together our own team, then we would not be split up. They could not guarantee that we would all be placed on the same team, so we set out to find enough people to make up our own team to have fun with during the kickball league season.

The Air Fresheners And Purell Were Not Delivered

Posted by Henry on January 19th, 2010

I placed the order online for the air fresheners and the purell just like I usually do last week and they still have not come in. I tried to call the company that I have bought this stuff for years and they have not returned any of my calls, so I turned to email and there has been no response there either.

I started telling this to my secretary and she asked me what the name of the company was and I told her. She said that she remembered hearing about some big warehouse that supplies things like purell, air fresheners and other janitorial products like that having a big fire last week. I was hoping that she was not right, but since they have never been late with any of the other orders that I have placed with them in the past, it just seemed like it had to be them.

After a little research on the internet we confirmed that it had in fact been their facility that was closest to us that had been destroyed. The good thing was that no one was hurt but that they would have to rebuild and were looking to find a temporary warehouse to work out of until then.

Thinking Of Going With The Poweredge Servers

Posted by Henry on January 5th, 2010

I have been doing some research to see which of the servers on the market today is considered the best buy. I have been doing this because I am thinking of opening up a coffee house in my building. Just about every person in the other thirty offices stops off at some coffee house or restaurant before coming in every morning.

My plan is to put that coffee house downstairs, where they have to walk right by it before getting on the elevator and cashing in on some of that coffee drinking. I have already talked with the dell repair store that is across the street and they have let me know how much it would be to put in all the computer stuff I would need.

I think that I may go with the poweredge servers since they have gotten good reviews and they are priced reasonably. It may be that the poweredge servers are not the perfect choice; I am going to have to check with the dell repair store and clear it with them. I want to make sure that all the equipment that I get, they know how to install and repair. It would not do me any good to buy stuff that the computer guys across the street cannot fix when it needs to be fixed.

The Used POS Equipment People Know My Order

Posted by Henry on January 4th, 2010

I may need to contact the used point of sale equipment company and see if they can send me some replacement pens for our credit card machines. It seems that a lot of my customers think that they can yank on the string that connects to the reader when they have to put in their pin numbers or sign the screen. I have replaced the pens a few times and ordered extra before, but now I am out again.

The used pos equipment site offers the pens in bulk and I believe that I may need to order a few different packs for now. I have wanted to place the order for a few weeks now, seeing that the new pens that I had installed about three weeks ago were already starting to come lose. I left the unattached pens there after they finally broke off, since they still would work and someone stole one of them and apparently a girl from the cleaning crew threw the other ones away thinking they were trash.

I have given my staff strict instructions to pay attention to all customers when they are checking out as soon as we get the used point of sale equipment sites order back and I install the pens once again. It has almost become a joke between the used pos equipment staff and me since they already know what I am calling to order before I get a chance to tell them.
