There are few sights as beautiful as a well kept and organized horse stable. Usually constructed around the serene countryside, a stable normally spreads over a huge area used for exercising, pasturing, and grazing horses. Since the area is extremely large and the horses being free spirited animals have a tendency to run afar, there is a dire need for their encircling protection. This protection is achievable using polytape.

Polytape is a type of electric fencing that is available in various widths. It is used to protect horses from going beyond the area where they are meant to be kept. Polytape is fenced along the area that needs to be protected with the help of standing polyposts. These polyposts are placed in the line of polytape fencing allowing it to stand firmly to make the horses go away with or without actually touching them. Distance between each of them depends upon the width of the polytape used.

When electricity is turned on to pass through the polytape fencing, electric fence tester can then be used to check whether the fence is working properly or not. Furthermore, it also helps in determining the amount of electric current that is passing through the fence.

The people in-charge of the stable are provided with horse fence kits so that they can carry out routine work related to the polytape fencing without being prone to electric hazards. This provides a comfortable as well as an effective way of   maintaining big stables.
