When I told my best friend that I had called about information to sell structured settlement payments, he thought that I was crazy. In fact, he told me that I should just be patient and wait for the first payment to come up due. I did not want to wait that long since I was heading off to college in the fall and I had a lot of things to pay for before doing that.

I had to report the structured settlement on my financial aid form, so I am not getting any help from the college since it looks like I have lots of money but I do not get any of it for four years. I suppose that the college thinks that once I graduate, I will get the money and just turn it over to them. That does not sound like fun to me at all and if I am going to get any of it then I am going to have some fun spending it too.

I almost wish that I had not had the structured settlement to use, and then I would be getting lots of scholarships and grants to help me afford school. If my only hope to get anything is to sell structured settlement payments for less than the amounts and then spend it all, maybe they will help me when it is all gone.
