I was walking down the street in Chicago and saw a house that was in desperate need of vinyl siding. I could not believe that it was the only house on the street without vinyl siding. You would think that some smart vinyl siding contractor would drive by and notice that and stop and talk to them or send them something in the mail. I of course am a good citizen and decide to call some siding companies in Chicago and let them know about this house and see if they would like to know where it is, since I think it would probably be an easy sell. I call the first Chicago siding company that I find and we discuss where the house is and why I think that they should call this homeowner and offer to do an estimate for vinyl siding. The manager took down all the information and I am of course happy to have helped the vinyl siding contractor with this great lead. Plus I have given the homeowner a helping hand in making his home look better. So, a few weeks go by and I walk by the same house and I notice that the Chicago siding company is there and they are walking around the house with the homeowner. I walk up and tell the homeowner that this is one of the best recommended siding companies in Chicago and I really think that he should put vinyl siding on his house since all the neighbors already have it and it would improve the value of his home. He hired the vinyl siding contractor and the house looks great now.
